PAYExcel

PAYExcel is a comprehensive yet easy to use spreadsheet solution to the payroll needs of small businesses, clubs, organisations and other employers.  Being a standard Microsoft Excel .xls workbook (for Excel version 97 or later), it feels immediately familiar to the many users of the world's most popular spreadsheet software.

Developed using Microsoft's powerful VBA programming language, the workbook goes well beyond the typical spreadsheet model, however, to create a comprehensive payroll application.

PAYExcel has been designed to emulate the manual payroll process without the need to use tax and NIC tables, etc..  It is therefore particularly well suited to those having previous experience of running a manual payroll.

Amongst the many features of PAYExcel are:

• Complete and correct calculation of PAYE for all types of tax code, in accordance with the Inland Revenue tax tables.
• Complete and correct calculation of NICs (using the exact percentage method) for contracted in and contracted out contributions.
• Option to calculate equivalent gross pay and deductions from a net pay figure.
• Weekly or monthly pay.
• Automatic production of employee payslips and Deduction Working Sheet P11s.
• Automatic production of monthly / quarterly Payslip Booklet figures.
• P45 checker.
• Quick and simple input, without the need to navigate multiple dialog screens.

An evaluation version of PAYExcel 2008 is available to download by right-clicking the link below.  The evaluation version is fully functional but is restricted to accept only pay dates between 6 April 2008 and 5 June 2008.
